From Ashes

I just finished this great book called From Ashes. It was about a girl that had an abusive past. She had a boy that saved her life and became her best friend. She falls for the boys cousin. Tyler doesn't like this one bit.

I liked this book because it faced real demons. The love seemed genuine. I like that it wasn't just a romance, but it showed the growth of family for Cassidy. Of course I enjoyed the love scenes too.

Molly McAdams has very uppidy books. By this I mean, there is always something around the corner. With every page turn, I was waiting for something dramatic to happen.

I give this book 4.5 stars!

Fall from Grace

This is a short, young adult, paranormal romance. It was a quick read, but there are two more books, so I am hoping for some closure. I didn't like the way it ended, but book 2 picks up where the first one leaves off.

Grace is carrying a soul of a fallen angel. She is looking for her lost love...No one knows her secret except for her brother and her best friend.

This reminded me a bit of Beautiful Disaster. I loved that book, but I feel like authors are trying too hard to write similar stories.

Summer Reading

I have read a lot of book reviews on blogs and different websites. Well this summer, I have read a lot.  I can't believe I haven't been reviewing this whole time. I am a sucker for young adult and romance. Recently, I started reading paranormal as well, and I love it! I am a Masters student right now, so when I am active in school I won't be able to read as much.
